EOTD Smokey Blue

My cousin M visited me today and I wanted her to try the palettes. Before playing with the palettes, she mentioned that she has always wanted to try blue eyeshadows so I tried my best to do a smokey blue eye for her.

Kindly excuse the ungroomed brows and imperfect blending as I know too well that I need more practice in applying eyeshadows (Actually it's not halata under normal lighting. It's obvious lang with the use of the flash :-).
My cousin loved her EOTD. She mentioned that she used to be conscious of the colors she wore (clothes, make up, etc) because of her morena skin. She even tried using skin lightening soaps and lotions in an attempt to achieve whiter skin. It's only now in her mid-twenties that she has accepted and loved her natural color. She knew she could pull off wearing a cool color in spite of her morena skin tone.

I used two shades of blue, black, and the silver shadow from the regular 88 palette. I also used Art Deco's eyeshadow base to prevent creasing and to make them last longer on oily lids .
